Mortal Kombat movie ideas 2) Jax's metal arms

In the Mortal Kombat Legacy series, it is hinted that Jax's arms were badly damaged during an explosion in his fight with Kano.

I kind of don't like the idea of having Jax's arm damaged just to warrant him having his metal arms. I like to think that he could use the metal arms as an added strength value in big battles against the likes of the cyber ninjas.

This is how I would have Jax come to the idea of having metal arm weapons;

Jax tracks down the Black Dragon (that are for hire under Shang Tsung). Jax confronts Tremor who has been summoned by Shang Tsung to safeguard a portal from the "unknown" location to his Island.

A battle breaks out between Jax and Tremor. Tremor shows a lot of strength and power by pounding the walls and ground so hard that everything rumbles around him. Jax uses his intelligence to use Tremor's uncontrollable attacks to his advantage by making him smash a boiling water pipe. The spray hits Tremor in the face making him blind. Then Jax kicks and punches Tremor out cold.

During this battle. We see Jax admire the power Tremor has. I feel that the Jax character is always looking to make himself stronger. Weight training just isn't getting him there fast enough. So he gets the idea of having arm enhancements to give him the strength he craves. This also brings out the character angle of Jax's insecurities as he would rely on his metal arm too much.

This is only my basic idea on how I would bring Jax's metal arms into the movie or maybe a sequel?

What do you think?

Mortal Kombat movie ideas 1) Intro

How would you kick start the movie? This is how I would start it;

Have a narrator explain how and why the tournament was created while we see glimpses of hand to hand combat as well as big scale battles.

The narrator should explain that Earth is the universes greatest prize that the Emperor Shao Kahn of Outworld, has had his eyes set on for hundreds of years.

Raiden (narrator) explains that for thousands of years, he has seen Kahn and his armies destroy other worlds by invasion. After Kahn takes total control, the conquered world is consumed and merged with his own Outworld. It was only the interference of the Elder Gods that could do something to stop Kahn overtaking the universe. So they created a tournament that would give the invaded world a chance to save their planet. If Outworld can beat 10 generations over a period of 500 years, then Kahn and his armies can invade and claim their new planet to merge with their own. (More would be explained throughout the movie)

Then Raiden would bring us to Earths final battle of a tournament with Outworld. We see an arena filled with people surrounding the fight area. Shang Tsung stands. Raiden narrates that Shang is the demon sorcerer of Outworld that was once a human turned by the lust of power.

Shang says that this is the final battle of the tournament. He called out Earth champion, Kung Lao. The winner that beat Shang Tsung in the last tournament 50 years ago. Raiden narrates that the victor of the tournament is granted a pause in their life. They cannot grow old but are still vulnerable to death. This is for the champion of the tournament as champion of Mortal Kombat

Shang calls out his champion. Goro. This 12 foot monster comes out wrapped in a red cape. Stands befor Kung Lao and pulls of the cape. We see Goro has four arms. Raiden narrates that Goro is half dragon and half human. His race of ShoKan are the subterranean beasts of Outworld under Kahn's rule.

"FIGHT"! Shang starts the final battle. Kung keeps his his distance from Goro's attacks to find weaknesses. Kung takes advantage whenever he sees an opening. Goro takes control and starts to beat Kung Lao. We see Shang walk away from vision (?). Kung is smashed through a wall into a building. Kung lao evades attacks to recover. Kung Lao steps it up with some very good moves that Goro cannot block or nearly recover from.

Then... Something happens. Everything is nearly blank. Nothing can be seen or heard fully. This lasts only a few moments. But soon as all back to normal, we see Kung Lao beaten and almost knocked out. Goro drags Kung back outside while seemingly dazed and shaking off the effects of battle. Shang walks from behind a group of spectators with a sinister look upon his face (?). Goro holds up Kung Lao but Kung Lao tries to fight back. Goro's top arms grab Kung's head. Shang shouts out "FINISH HIM". Goro, in a powerful movement, twists and breaks Kungs neck and with his bottom arms, twists and breaks the spins of Kung Lao. Kung Lao is dead. Raiden is seen and looks heartbroken as his prodigy and friend has been beaten and killed. But wonders what happened during the "blackout" in the battles defining moment.

Shang walks over to the body and takes the soul of Kung Lao. While the soul enters into Shang's body, It feels like an adrenaline rush.

Raiden narrates that the tournament was corrupted in favor of Outworld for the next 8 tournaments as Shang took control as host.

He continues; The 10th tournament is coming soon. Earth's final chance is about to begin.

End intro.

Title "Mortal Kombat".

So there you go. Just my basic idea of an intro.
